WORKING AT ZERO THREE CARE
Getting out and about in the community and engaging in community life is as important to us as it is to the people we support.
Each service user has a weekly schedule that is based on their likes, dislikes and perceived preferences. The aim is to encourage personal development and build self-esteem by enabling service users to participate in a range of activities and to acquire appropriate problem-solving, practical, social and life skills.
“I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful weekend we had, with the wedding on Saturday and a family gathering at our house on Sunday…We would like to say the staff did a superb job on the day of supporting him and we could not have asked for more…to have our three sons together looking so smart and happy was a very proud moment.”
“We all thought this was the most relaxed we have ever seen him when we saw him on Saturday, and so happy…”
“Thank you for arranging our son’s taster day and for all the effort you are putting into finding things for him to do when he transitions to keep him active which is essential to his physical and mental wellbeing as documented by many of the health professionals involved in his care.”
“My son continues to make good progress. Staff continue to provide an excellent service.”
“I wish to congratulate staff and my son on a positive report. He was alert and engaged throughout the CPA. His speech was clear and he was able to respond to questions appropriately. The placement has clearly supported him to make changes within his life. Well done to everyone involved.”
“Really, really pleased with how our son is getting on – he is doing so well.”
“Thank you all for joining us at Pitsea pool to celebrate our son’s 21st Birthday. He had a great time with the inflatables and enjoyed your company too. Many thanks for making the effort and your support.”
“Given the severity of his Autism my husband and I could not be more pleased with his placement at Estoril with Zero Three Care. Our son is able to live in a proper home and is treated at all times with respect and understanding of his individual needs…I am happily included and consulted on aspects of his care by the staff who are enthusiastic about providing a happy and homely environment for everyone.”
“Staff appear to address all his health needs when they arise, and are very aware of keeping him active and at a healthy weight.”
“We are pleased with all aspects of his care, especially with the understanding of his pre-fit mood changes. His development is always under review and new prospects are on the horizon.”
